BEFORE YOU CHOOSE THE CONTRACTOR …
When choosing a company to entrust your stained glass work to, it is important to pay attention to a few things. First of all, make sure that it is a proven and trusted studio and that it guarantees not only the stained glass itself, but also its assembly. Make sure that the company provides assembly services even in hard-to-reach places where specialized equipment is needed. If you plan to renovate historic stained glass windows, check if it has a conservation license. In addition, in the case of works performed in historic buildings, remember to obtain appropriate permits from the territorially competent Office for the Protection of Monuments and the Bishop’s Curia.
It is also important how long a given company has been on the market and, above all, whether it employs qualified and experienced employees. The key to a good studio is a constant and well-coordinated team of professionals.
If there is such a possibility, see the previous realizations of a given studio. Thanks to this, you will be able to judge for yourself whether it is at a sufficiently high artistic level, which is undoubtedly as important as timeliness or the cost of implementation. Also trust the recommendations of other investors who have previously used the services of the company you are interested in.
The studio itself is also important. A well-stocked one allows you to proceed with the implementation shortly after the project is approved by the investor. And the project? If you don’t have one, you will get help in a professional studio. An experienced designer will adapt the project to your expectations, bearing in mind the technical requirements that the project must meet in order to be able to implement it.
The Vitro company has been operating since 1990. During this time, in addition to those presented above, we have completed many smaller and larger orders. We have carried out conservation works, renovations and complete reconstructions of historic stained glass windows in old churches and other buildings of historical value. We have also completed a lot of original works, based on the concepts provided to us or created by us from scratch, and an impossible to estimate number of smaller orders. We have worked all over the country and abroad, in metropolises and small villages.
Since the picture, especially painted with stained-glass light, speaks much better than words, we invite you to view the list of Vitro’s projects, built mainly on the basis of photos from the course of work, and above all – their effects.
